German restaurant

Finding the restaurant incredibly cold we opted for a table on the terrace. Strangely they don't provide table service outside, even though it's in line of sight to the ordering location. Nevertheless I ordered the sausage platter and though there was no real indication of what the sausages were, they were delicious.Service was fairly quick and painless. Sitting outside meant paying upfront which I've never been a fan of, but it was a fairly good experience, even though the table was a little sticky...

Service was OK on this quiet evening, staff were friendly and drinks and meals came out promptly. The meals weren't too bad, however the Chef's Special (Pork belly on a potato hash) wasn't very special at all. It was extremely dry, much like pork jerky. To be fair I was offered a replacement, though I didn't take up the offer as I had eaten enough with the starters and other meals we ordered.When I suggested I shouldn't have to pay for a meal that wasn't up to scratch, the best they could do was offer it at a 50% discount. Not really acceptable but I couldn't be bothered arguing any further.

Pork knuckles were killer! Great service and staff! Definitely be back!

I gave Brotzeit 4 stars a year ago as a review. Today we went back, staff were friendly food was ok, salt and pepper squid very oily but the main concern were the leafy greens that weren't washed. With all the emphasis put on physical distancing and cleanliness maybe washing the greens was missed?

This is the 1st time we've tried this restaurant, it is a really good venue in close proximity to the Baldivis shopping centre and only a short distance off the freeway on Safety Bay Rd.It's quite a large venue and has seating inside & out, there is also take away available. The premises are extremely clean, the staff are polite and helpful.The is a very comprehensively stocked bar offering a variety of tap beers, wines etc.The menu offers a great selection of entrees, mains and deserts, prices are excellent value & the meals are generous portions.

Pretty good food, nice beer and fantastic service. It's a little expensive. It cost $125 for two people for full size lunch serves including 2 beers, but they do have $15 lunch specials, and a variety of $20 snichtzel and a side on Tues. I do recommend this place but be wary that add ons can bring you bill higher than expected.

A family oriented Bayern beer restaurant. Enjoyed some German delicacy like Schnitzel, Slow cooked pork and of course taps on hot summer day. The beer tastes like true German style.

Service was prompt and friendly. Beer was great. Food was super dissappointing as most was overcooked (too dry) and overly salted. Neighbouring table had several kids under 10 who were running around and so loud we had trouble hearing each other. Then 90-mins before closing we're told it's last call and please pay the bill ASAP . We won't be back.

We have been eating at Elmar's many times, may be once every 6-12 months, food is still good. Today, we orders a Elmar's platter that can fill up 4 adults easily for $129.I am not a beer drinker so cannot comment on their home brewed beer.Nice place to attend for casual lunch or dinner or functions.
